About the Ladies Tour
Join the Hatzolah Ladies Cape Invasion Cycle Tour 2018, for a cycling experience of a lifetime.
Building on the success of the men’s Cape Invasion Tour, this year we are offering a Ladies Cycle Tour with a 2 route variations. The Challenge Route for the serious and accomplished road cyclist and the On-Road Route for the in-shape road cyclist.
Cape Invasion offers two magnificent route variations
- Challenge Route (for the serious and accomplished road cyclist)
- On-Road Route (for the in-shape road cyclist)
Your route choice depends on your riding preferences and cycling ability. We have made great efforts to ensure that each route is both beautiful and challenging. Whichever route you select, you will enjoy breathtaking scenery, great ambiance and unforgettable camaraderie.
The Hatzolah Ladies Cape Invasion Cycle Tour 2018 will start on Monday 22nd October 2018 at the Val du Charron in Wellington, with a welcoming dinner. Cyclist must make their own arrangements to get to the Val du Charron before dinner at 19h00. The cycle tour will start early on the Tuesday morning.

Tour Package
- – Accommodation for the 4 nights at luxury resorts
- – All kosher meals including breakfast, lunch and supper / snacks etc. for the 5 days
- – Bicycle transport to Wellington and back from Cape Town after the Tour

Accommodation
- All hotel bookings during the ride are handled exclusively by Hatzolah. Please do NOT make arrangements directly with the hotels. Accommodation during the ride is included in the registration fee and is based on 2 – 3 people sharing. Rooming – The number of people per room varies by location (2 -3 per room). Tour Costs
Shared Rooms – R15 000
In addition to the above, each rider is required to collect a minimum of R18,000 in sponsorships. All sponsorships will qualify for a Section 18A certificate. In previous years a number of riders have raised far in excess of this amount and we encourage all riders to raise as much funds as possible for this life-saving organisation.
We suggest that you complete your fundraising by the time of the ride. However, you will have a further 6 months to collect this commitment, should the need arise.
Please note: You will be required to pay a R7500 deposit on registration and the balance no later than 3rd September to secure your spot. The package fee is non-refundable and does not meet the requirements for a Section 18A deduction. If for whatever reason you cannot take part in the cycle tour, this amount will be reclassified as a donation to Hatzolah and you will receive a Section 18A certificate.
The Route
Day One:
Arrival into CT airport and transfer to Wellington. Welcome dinner at 19h00
Day Two:
Wellington to Franschhoek approx. 90km
Day Three:
Franschhoek to Arabella approx. 85km
Day Four:
Arabella to Greyton via Hemel en Aarde. Lunch in Greyton then shuttle back to Arabella approx. 90km
Day Five:
Arabella to Gordons Bay – approx. 60km. Lunch, then transfer back to airport
