Day 1: Monday 2nd March – George Loop

Leaving the magnificent Oubaai Hotel and Spa, we cycle towards the challenging and awesome Outeniqua Pass. After cresting at the summit we will retrace our steps back down and cycle the back routes, riding the beautiful Seven Passes towards the Wilderness. We than ride along the lagoon and magnificent natural surroundings. We do an extra loop that will than bring us back to our Oubaai Hotel for delicious supper and well earned sundowners.

Day 2: Tuesday 3rd March – George to Mossel Bay

George is simply breath-taking and so is the Garden Route. We will be riding through George , The Wilderness and onto the famous R102, with its spectacular mountain views via the world famous Groot Brak and Hartenbos rivers towards the beautiful coastal village of Mossel Bay, which is surrounded by the sunbathed peninsula. A challenging , but magnificent route awaits us, as we head towards our “ surprise!!!” hotel for the night.

Day 3: Wednesday 4th March – Mossel Bay Loop

Leaving our “surprise” destination , we climb a slightly challenging route out of Mossel Bay. Mossel Bay is known for its magnificent riding routes with spectacular scenery. We will take on one of the angulating routes as we head onto the famous Boggems Bay and Gouritz. Beautiful fields and rolling hills awaits us, as we ride a truly spectacular route for everyone to enjoy. After some spectacular pictures at the Sea , we then head on back to our hotel, for a refreshing shower and a delicious well deserved lunch.

Day 4: Thursday 5th March – Hermanus Loop

An earlier morning start, will see us make our way onto one of the most ridden, spectacular inland and sea rides in the Western Cape. We pedal along the R43, making our way along mountainous tropical winding roads into the beautiful Calendon region. Riding into the quaint town of Calendon, we then pass and visit some of the most popular land marks and coffee stops. From there we make our way towards Hermanus with some of the most powerful and mesmerizing sea and natural land views a cyclist could see. These views will help us deal with the slightly up and down hill stretches as those strong but weary legs will enjoy the last stretch that is predominantly flat, as we head back to the magnificent Arabella Hotel. We will then have our famous, fun and scrumptious final dinner and presentation with extraordinary guest speakers and entertainment.

Hermanus Loop

Day 5: Friday 6th March – Hermanus to Gordons Bay

Leaving the Arabella Hotel we travel along one of South Africa’s most spectacular coastal rides with magnificent vistas of the Atlantic Ocean and Coastal Mountains. Surrounded by spectacular sea views, wildlife and mountains, we continue to the famous Beachfront in Gordons Bay. The 2019 tour will end in Gordons Bay with delicious snacks and champagne. Transport will then be provided to the President Hotel in Sea Point and Cape International Airport.
